The answer is yes! Vaccines are not just for kids. They are recommended throughout our lives based on age, lifestyle, occupation, travel destinations, medical conditions and vaccines received in the past. Each year in August, the National Public Health Information Coalition sponsors National Immunization Awareness Month in the hopes of encouraging individuals to stay up to date on recommended vaccinations.
