CareSync had the honor to have been invited to participate on a panel session during the m-Enabling Summit, held in Arlington, VA on June 9-10, 2014.  I was the lucky person from our team who got to participate in "mHealth Solutions for Seniors and Persons with Disabilities," a lineup stacked with a variety of people doing different things, but all focused on solving the same problems.

It's funny, because just the other day I said that one of the things that I enjoy so much about Health Datapalooza, is how laser-focused everybody is on solving a problem (for HDP, it's access to data). Within moments of being on site today, I realized that the energy of the m-Enabling Summit is no different, just a slightly different focus: equipping a group of our population who is typically under served in the roles they play in their lives.

It's that focus that makes conferences like these so productive, and this one was no different.

The panel was led by Stephen Johnston, the founder of Aging 2.0.

Other panelists included:

Starting with Stephen, the session went from a macro view of the space, into a more strategic look, a legal and regulatory look, and then the three product and service providers, and their unique offerings.

It was a great opportunity to meet other disruptive thinkers, get asked challenging questions by the audience, and leave with ideas to make what we do even better for our users.

The 90 minute session went by far too quickly, so I was happy to stay after and talk with a handful of the audience members who had more questions.  One of the people I spoke with had been at Health Datapalooza last week, and said he'd gotten a Data is the New Black button from the CareSync booth!  Events become officially more fun when you start seeing the same faces over and over again.

Here's the high level overview slide deck I used to present CareSync in 7-10 minutes.  I focused on just a handful of the problems that we solve for, and focused the remainder of the presentation on getting access to useful information that is easy to share with family, care team, and doctors.  I hope you enjoy!

If you have an upcoming event, and think that someone from the CareSync team would be an asset to your speaker or panelist lineup, please feel free to reach out to us. We love meeting new people, and love participating in events that are looking to advance healthcare for everybody!

Oh, if you sign up for a CareSync account by June 30, 2014, use the code MENABLING14 and be entered to win an iPad Mini and CareSync Plus subscription.  If you choose to upgrade to CareSync Plus services, the coupon is also good to save $10 on the Health History.
