Hot chocolate: the perfect way to warm up a cold day.

Who doesn’t swoon over a nice cup of hot chocolate? But if you’re getting the one at the neighborhood coffee house, it could contain 60 grams of carbs (or more!), even when it’s made with low-fat milk.

Here’s a tasty recipe alternative we found on WebMD:

Make your own hot chocolate by mixing 1 cup of low-fat milk with two squares of 70% dark chocolate, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Melt these ingredients together in a saucepan and enjoy something rich and delicious with only 23 grams of carbs.
