There are a lot of personal health records out there, but we have yet to find a true family health record. The CareSync team is intensely focused on making healthcare data usable for the average person, and one of the ways that we do that is with robust tools for quickly and accurately adding content into your account.
We've recently supercharged our Providers functionality by building a robust, behind-the-scenes tool that helps you quickly and correctly add your healthcare providers, and their contact information, into CareSync.
From your Summary View, click on Providers.
Within Providers, click on the Add Providers button.
This pulls up the Search for a Provider, where you can start typing in some identifying information. I typed in the provider's last name, first initial, and the state of CA. Voila! There she is!
Once you choose the correct provider, you have the opportunity to review the information and add anything that might be missing. Click Save Provider to add them to your provider list.
Once saved, the provider appears in your Provider's List, and when highlighted, you can see not only her contact information, but also the medications, health conditions, and documents linked to her.
On the off chance that you don't find your provider automatically within CareSync, it's simple to add one on the fly! From the Search for a Provider screen, you have the option to Add a New Provider, and you can manually enter in their information.
As you can see, it's quick and simple to add your health providers into CareSync. This becomes even more useful if you have signed up for a CareSync Plus account, as our Health Assistants are instantly able to reach out and begin the collection of your healthcare data. And we know that having access to this information means making smarter, more informed decisions. And that just feels good!
